00 I am convinced that the Master´s in Global Political Economy corresponds well with my future plans of seeking a career in an international or government organization. It is my dream and ambition to be admitted and pursue my post-graduate studies in the field of Global Political Economy in order to develop a career that leads to working across the world. 02br

00 My desire to study in the particular field, reflects my interest in global economic and political issues and especially how these affect not only the world balance and the correlation of power among nations but also the competitiveness of smaller in scale companies and the everyday life of ordinary people. While researching schools I went through the course structure of your M.A. and read carefully the overview and the objectives of every single course, only to discover that I have found the right Master´s programme for me. Courses concerning the governance of globalization or of the world market and Europe’s role to globalization process, to name only a few, are very fascinating and intriguing. Moreover, my view is that such a postgraduate programme will be beneficial for me in several other ways. First of all, the interaction with students from all over the world will give me the opportunity to share experiences and become familiar with different ideas and practices. Additionally, this programme will offer me the opportunity to practice my knowledge of English language, and last but not least, it will contribute to my pursue of lifelong learning and self-improvement. 02br

00 I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Economics at the University of ***, which is one of the most demanding economic departments in ***. My Bachelor´s degree has a major in business and finance and a minor in international economics and development. The degree programme has guided me through systematic researching, analytical thinking and information evaluation but most of all, it has provided me with deeper insight into international economic and political issues and, demonstrated their impact in every aspect of life. During my undergraduate studies I had the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of elective courses ranging from economics of human resources and Marxist political economy to competitiveness of nations and companies. 02br

00 Despite the fact that my Bachelor´s degree major has a practical and applied direction, I was always attracted and inspired by theoretical approaches to social matters. Thus, I decided to select a theoretical and internationally oriented minor, which, without question, was a choice I was glad to have made. That is the reason why, now I am very enthusiastic and eager to participate in your M.A. programme. 02br

00 I would like to mention that during my undergraduate studies I had the opportunity to practice and complement my knowledge by working as an accountant assistant in an importing company under the name *** S.A. for one year. In addition to this, I participated in the working practice programme offered by the University of ***, where I was chosen by the National Bank of ***, the largest state bank of ***, and carried out successfully a two-month programme. I am of the opinion that any academic knowledge gained should be applied and utilized through work experience. So, regardless to say, I was very pleased to find out that the program encourages practical experience and independent research via an internship at an appropriate institution. I was also fascinated by the opportunity given to *** students to participate in work-study programs at universities with which *** has collaborations with, in foreign countries. 02br
