Letter Writing

Letter of Motivation. Need someone to correct :)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the Architectural Technology and Construction Management / Building Technology (Bachelor Degree) in your College. I am currently studying at Steponas Darius and Stasys Girenas gymnasium, and I am specialising in technical studies. There are some reasons why I have chosen this speciality and why I have decided to study exactly at your college in Denmark.
First of all, some information about me. I am 19 years old school-leaver, living in Kaunas, Lithuania. I love to spend my free time with my friends, play or watch basketball games, play bowling or pool, ride a bicycle and etc. Mathematics and physics are my favourite subjects from the very first class till now, especially I like geometry. I have a little sister, who is nine years old. My father works in Denmark as a dyer for a few years, my mother is unemployed, but she is searching for a job in Denmark.
To be an architect or civil engineering I wanted from a child. To project a incredibly huge building with a lot of rooms, halls, stairs and manage to constructional is my dream for a very long time. I have decided to be an some kind of architect when I was about 15 years old. Now it is a very promising speciality and there are a lot of jobs I can work after finishing Bachelor Degree. Few years ago I wanted to study Architecture or Civil engineering at Kaunas Technical University, but there are some reasons why I have decided to study in Denmark. First of all, studying abroad have advantages like new experience, new friends from all over the world and independent life without parents. Second reason is that my father works in Ribe, the oldest city in Denmark, just about 120-160 kilometres from your college, so we will have a chance to see each other whenever we like. I had spent three summers in Denmark and what I really liked there is lovely old-time towns and very friendly people. And the last, but not least reason is free education. I had read a lot of information about this speciality, about your college and city, accommodation, fees and etc., so I am waiting impatiently for an offer from your college to have a chance to study there.
Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.

Yours faithfully,

It will be later today before I can correct this since I must leave to teach now.  I'll do it later though if someone else hasn't.

I have edited the text below using strikeout to remove words, punctuation, or letters and a red font to indicate suggested editions.  Being from the United States I am hesitant to make a lot of style changes since I do not know what is proper there.  For instance, I have placed the last sentence of your first paragraph in purple.  If
