Hello there!
I really need your help. I am writing the letter of motivation for a Master's Degree at the university I am currently graduating at (a German one, that is why the names are in German, btw). I do not seem to find something like that on the internet and if I do, I still do not know how to use this for my own purposes. Usually I am not that bad in English writing, but if I do not know what I actually need to say, I get nervous and I mess it all up

So, please, could anyone have a look at this letter and could tell me whether it is okay? Is it too short? Did I forget something really important? Is my grammar ok? I guess the grammar and spelling is most important, since I have to proof that my English is good enough to take part in English courses. Thanks in advance!
Dear Sir or Madam,I would like to apply for the Master‘s Degree in “Angewandte Sprachwissenschaften: Kommunikation und Fremdsprachen im Beruf“ starting in October. My aim is to work in the field of public relations or corporate communication. Furthermore I am generally very interested in the ways I could apply the theoretical knowledge I gained in the minor subject of my Bachelor‘s Degree (“Sprache und Kommunikation”) in practice. I think the Master‘s Degree “Angewandte Sprachwissenschaften” would be appropriate for my aims, since it is the Master‘s Degree of my minor subject. Therefore I am already familiar with many theoretical aspects of linguistics and I know that one of the possible careers with a Master‘s Degree in “Angewandte Sprachwissenschaften” could be public relations or corporate communications.I will be graduating in the Bachelor‘s Degree of “Literatur, Kultur und Medien” this September. Even though “Sprache und Kommunikation” has not been the major subject of my studies, I am confident that I gained at least some knowledge in academic working in “Literatur, Kultur und Medien” that might be useful no matter what Master‘s Degree I will take. In case more credit points are required from courses in “Sprache und Kommunikation” than I have already obtained, I am willing to catch up on the missing courses in the first semesters of the Master‘s Degree.Thank you for considering my application.Yours sincerely,
