Letter of Motivation, help please
Hello,
I have to write a Letter of Motivation, and must confess I have not written english for quite some time and never had to write a LoM. This is my very first try and I hope it´s no horrible...

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I hereby wish to state my interest for a place in your Summer School on XXX.
I am convinced that the programme corresponds well with my Ph.D. Thesis. My PhD Thesis is attached to my Magister Thesis XXX and conducted by the question of how social capital of religious communities can be considered as an integrative factor and is thereby closely connected with the thematic area of your Summer School. Further Information about my Subject can be found in the attached Abstract.
My desire to participate in your Summer School reflects my interest in how religious pluralisation affects not only forms of organzations of religious migrant communities but also how these forms of organization influence the integration of their members.
I hope to get the chance to exchange knowledge with people who work on a similar subject as I do. Furthermore I am anxious to improve my ken in theory and methods of the current field.
I already participated on several conferences for students in the study of religions as well as conferences from the XXXAssociation and made great experiences about the exchange of knowledge during these conferences. These experiences induces me to the assumption that my attendance in your Summer School will not only bring me great input for my Thesis but also will let me hope that I can animate other participants in their research.
I believe that the combination of my past experiences and academic knowledge will qualify me as an participant of your Summer School, and furthermore will prepare me to achieve my goals in the future. Learning is what I do best, and your Summer School is the perfect opportunity to excel at it.
