Motivation letter for the Master of Arts in International Business.
My name is XXXXXXXX, I have a Bachelors degree in International Business and markets and a Master of Arts in European Studies from the University of Florence. Since my last year of high school I understood the importance of participate and learn in the International world, therefore, I chased to study a Bachelor program me with an international approach. During this program me I had the opportunity to participate and gain practical experience at companies that where in different ways dedicated to the international wool. My first practical experience was at the Mexican Embassy in Berlin, Germany, where I had the opportunity to not only see a different country but also to understand and see places from a diplomatic point of view. My second practical experience during my studies was at a company in Mexico that was dedicated to help little companies to be prepared to export their products.
I have also been always interested in language, I could say, is one of my hobbies, that is why after one year of University I was offered the big opportunity to go on an exchange programme from Rotary Club and experience the German live with a German family and in a German High school, being unable to say no to this big chance, I decided to stop my studies for a year and it was a good choice because this experience helped me not only to learn the language, to get to know the culture, to be immersed in the real Germany., but also to have a big boned to Germany.
During my studies I also took French Lessons and on one summer decided to go abroad to France for a French Course. When I finished my undergraduate programme I thought that with the languages I had learned was not enough to work in an International company so I went to Italy for an Italian course and being there learned about the M.A in European Studies, following the line I have marked in my career, I thought it was important to specialize in the European Union, because it was a good market and a growing economy.
In the year 2006 I decided, after completing my MA in Italy, to come back to Mexico and apply all the knowledge I have obtained. I worked for a real State company and a company in the oil and gas sector in the commercial department, I also was given the opportunity in September of 2008 to work part time as an English and basic German teacher at a Berlitz school in my home city, this gave me a lot of satisfaction, being able to share the knowledge with other people was a great experience.
Now, my thirst of learning is calling me again, learning is never enough and the world and the economies change so fast that I think I have to refresh what I have learned and acquire new Knowledge. That is why I am applying for the MA. In International Business at the University.
The international approach of the programme is what caught my attention because I have always tried to focus my career in an International atmosphere; The fact that there is the possibility to have a double degree made it even more interesting, because it gives me the possibilities to see another culture and learn from it as well, I think that having the chance to live in different countries enriches people.
I find very interesting and excellent the practical approach of the programme by making students be active in class and then apply what has been learned at school by working in practical projects with international companies, this is a great weapon for graduates because does not only gives the opportunity to gain experience during the studies but also gives us the possibility to create networks.
To further my career aspirations in International Business I would like to be part of this programme, I think I fullfil the requirements in languages, educational background and motivation. This programme will give to learn more and broaden my professional opportunities.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions regarding the information give.
I look forward to a positive answer.
Yours faithfully,
