Letter of motivation evaluation

Can someone please give feedback/suggestions for my letter of motivation for masters in autonomous systems. Thanks in advance for giving your valuable time.

The chapter of autonomous systems began for me as a kid watching a famous show named super factories on discovery channel, the autonomous machines working on their own, the big factories assembling cars automatically, as a child were so intriguing to me that from there on started my interest in the field of automation and robotics and the indefinite quest for learning and working in this exciting area.
After achieving good grades in high school, the next step in my quest was Bachelors in technology from Bharati Vidyapeeth College of engineering for which I chosen Electronics and communication as my specialization simply because of its curriculum ranging from core electronics to microcontrollers and from computers to telecommunication and it has all the spices for a perfect robotics recipe. It was during my second year I was officially introduced to microcontrollers and its application and from there onwards there was no stopping.
In the journey I started from building basic line follower to more complex DTMF based automatic robot cleaner. My dream of building my own fully autonomous machine got fulfilled during my bachelor’s thesis in which we designed a Computer Numerated Control autonomous image drawer in a team of 4 students lead by me which combined the three disciplines of engineering Electronics, Computer and Mechanics. During Bachelors I also got the opportunity to work with ROBOTEKIES for a 6 week internship in which I conducted basic robotics workshops along with the robotekies team for junior students and motivated them to step in into this magical field.
To be successful in Robotics and Automation, good command over electronics and programming skills are essential. During my bachelors I learned embedded systems, Control systems, Electronics Engineering, Advance Communications, Signal Processing etc and to strengthen my programming skills I joined Tata Consultancy services (one of world’s premier IT Company) as a System Engineer. I have been working with the company for almost two years now; it has been a wonderful journey of learning new technologies, gaining responsibility, learning teamwork, leadership skills and innovating. In spite of working under tremendous pressure, I always volunteer to learn new technologies, research and create useful solutions. During my TCS journey I have learned JAVA, C/C++, Python, COBOL, and ORACLE, which will also help me in pursuing my future ambitions.

I decided to pursue masters study because I want to broaden my knowledge in the field of autonomous systems and to acquaint myself with the latest technologies and advancements in this field and choosing Germany-The land of Ideas was an obvious choice because of its world renowned engineering programs and more and more internationalized courses which is according to me one of the most important thing along with curriculum when it comes to choosing masters program. I believe during your masters program I will learn the necessary skills to pursue my future ambition to work in R & D labs of companies like KUKA, REIS, IPA, GPS, Metralabs etc.

I aspire to study Autonomous Systems because I have a keen interest in Robotics and Autonomous Systems that is backed by my experiences both in the field of electronics and programming. It is a field where my interests and expertise merge. Going through a structured program at BRSU with so many scopes of hands-on experiments and industrial exposure will give me an opportunity to understand my field of interest in its totality. The Autonomous System programme deals with the latest technologies. By learning them, I can contribute to the myriad areas of society, from medicine to the military to agriculture. In particular, I wish to contribute towards building robots which makes human life easy and to participate in BRSU initiatives like ROBOCUP, DESIRE etc will be a dream come true for me.

When it comes to learning the latest technologies, one needs the exposure and guidance of the highest standard. The University of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg is renowned in this field, a true benchmark I would say. Its state-of-the-art facilities, world-class faculty, excellent atmosphere, world’s best fellow students, industrial affiliations with IAIS, Betrand etc. and many research opportunities making it a dream come true for me. University of Bonn-Rhein-Sieg is the home of world class R&D projects like XPERO, DESIRE, ROBOCUP and so many others. Undoubtedly, it will be a matter of pride if I get a chance to pursue the Master's degree in Autonomous Systems from your University and if given a chance, I assure you to give my 100% to carry the university’s name forward.
