Letter of Motivation - Could you help me?

Hello, here is my letter of motivation. I have to write it for an practical training in Great Britain. What do you think about it? Are there big mistakes?

Thank you very much for your support!!

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hereby wish to state my interest for a practical training in the field of Human Resources from January 2007 for a period of about three month.

My name is xxx and I am studying Education Science majoring in Ergonomics, Psychology and Business Economics at the University of Munich, Germany. I will graduate my studies by the end of 2006.

I am convinced that the practical training in corresponds well with my future plans of seeking a career in an international company. The importance of international mobility is becoming more and more emphasized and I am very eager to gain practical experience by working abroad. This will not only help me to improve prospects for my future professional career, it will also allow me to learn more about your country and culture as well. Additionally this practical training will offer me the opportunity to practice my knowledge of English language and last but not least, it will contribute to my pursue of lifelong learning and self-improvement.

Before my study I completed a vocational training as a physician assistant and worked in a big group surgery for three years. Amongst other things I was responsible for the employees (about 15-20 people) and the whole company organisation. For example I conducted job interviews, wrote the contracts and certifications and made the staff roster. I enjoyed this work and so I decided to make it more professional with a study.

During my study I made two practical trainings. The first was at XXX GmbH & Co. KG in . This company helps unemployed people getting a new job. As an intern I supported the staff in their daily work. For example I prepared training material, acquired jobs or practical trainings for the unemployed people and helped them to improve their application documents.

The second practical training was at XXX GmbH in the Department of Human Resources Development. I oversaw the whole student management process. Therefore I advertised vacancies, handled applications, conducted job interviews and wrote contracts and certifications. Furthermore I helped the students with questions and problems during their stay. Based upon my good performances, I was granted a position in the XXX program and got the possibility to write my Diploma Thesis in this company, too. My Diploma Theses deals with the global associate survey of the XXX GmbH.

Personally, I am a person with a high perseverance level, someone who is motivated and ambitious. I am reliable and flexible and enjoy working in a team. I have advanced computer skills (MS Office, SAP R/3) and good command of English which I have improved with a Business English Course at the Inlingua language school since five month.

I would be glad to support your human resources team with my practical experiences and theoretical knowledge. So I hope that you can offer me a place in your company.

Sincerely,
