Dear Sir or Madame,

my name is DP. I am 19 years old and I recently completed my A-Level at the grammar school FRH in B.
I would like to have experience in a British hotel or restaurant to gain knowledge of the working style of a employee in England and I also want to improve my English.
In addition my schooldays I worked in a print office. I had to sort books, documents and other stuff.
I never had worked before in a hotel or restaurant but I served people on private partys and I often managed the activities at the bar.
Anyway I think I am the right person for this programme. Why, so there are a lot of reasons.
First and the most important thing is that I have a confident appearance and I am a good team worker. I am very engaged, adaptive and I always try to give my best. I am also determined and flexible.
Moreover I stayed in a lot of different hotels around the world, where I had the perfect opportunity to look into the hotel business.
The programme will be a great opportunity for me to collect work experience and get to know new people.

My main goals are learning how to work in different areas in a hotel or restaurant. Especially I want to learn how to serve a dish accurate, which wine I recommend to which dish and which different dishes are typical for your country.
After the programme I would like to act in the truisms branch and study hotel management. This is also one reason for participating.
Besides working abroad is the consummate chance for me to advance my cross-cultural understanding and to expand my horizon.
It will be a pleasure to understand the branch of tourism.
