Hey guys i just found that forum and would like to know if someone could read my Letter of Motivation and give me his/her opinion!

Letter of Motivation

Dear Sir or Madame,

Herewith I would like to apply to the xxx University to join the Bachelor’s Program of International Economics & Business.

Why I would like to study at xxx:

I am interested in many different things but my main interests are English and economy.

English:


Because the English language plays an important part in our today`s society and economy, I decided to choose English as an advanced course during school. Therefore I could take possession of good skills but will improve them further during a two month internship in a soft-toy factory in Canada beginning in June this year.

I am very liberal-minded and cosmopolitan, which was intensified by various travels to many countries, such as Canada, Spain, Egypt, Tunisia and lots of European capitals. Therefore, studying in English is very attractive to me, it will allow me to work and live abroad after my graduation.

Economy:


Since my childhood I gained insight of the work of a business economist due to my father.
Thus my interest was awakened early for the overall economic processes and the procedures in a company.

The global finance crisis and the recession of the economy have fortified my thirst for knowledge about economic processes.

After my graduation, I want to enroll in a master’s program to intensify my studies. My goal is to work in an international company.

The study course International Economics & Business in xxx combines those two aspects which are very important for me, economy and English.
My decision for xxx got intensified by exceedingly positive experiences at the Open-Day at your university.
The exchange with the Student Advisory Service gave me an additional outstanding impression of the xxx.
