Letter of Motivation

Sub: Application for ABC
Dear Sir,

My name is ABC and with this letter I would like to introduce my candidature for the position of ABC.
I am currently undergoing M.Sc. Bioinformatics education at the UNIVERSITY in ABC. During my studies I had the opportunity to develop my ability to combine the work between two main fields - the informatics and the biology, but also to gain experience in the field of chemistry and mathematics. In the last five years I have learned to find solutions of biological problems with computer-based methods quickly and efficiently. I also have obtained the ability to develop such methods and algorithms by myself or working in team. Because of my high interest in the legal issues in the bioinformatics and the technical innovations, I took a couple of law courses during my education.
For me the most interesting thing about being a bioinformatician is that in this field one always has to be aware of the newest methods and technologies, to understand them and to discuss them with other scientist in order to work with them. That requires the reading of many technical and scientifical texts.
I think that working as ABC will be a great opportunity for me to combine the three fields I am most interested in: the learning about new technologies, the doing of scientific researches and the examination of the legal issues.
I am confident that I am qualified and prepared to meet all requirements of the work. I would be grateful if you could give my application your most favorable consideration.
