Letter Writing

letter of complain could you help me?

I'm not familiar with official stuff so could you check this letter for me, please? Hints are welcome:) thank you again

Customer Care Manager

Capital Rail

Dear Sir or Madame

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with poor service I have received from Capital Rail. Not only the trains were late but also Capital Rail’s staff behaviour was unacceptable.

I am a student of ’s language college. I have to take a train to get to every day. Last weak, due to bad weather conditions, trains were delayed even more than one hour. As a result I was late for course every day. On the worst day (Wed, 14 Dec) the train was delayed 1 hour and 20 minutes and I missed two classes.

I also would like to express my concern about the fact that quality of customer service was insufficient. All passengers, including myself, were not informed about cause or length of delay. On top of that, we were ignored by Capital Rail’s employees.

Consequently due to the discomfort and inconvenience I would like to ask for compensation. According to your leaflet, you offer vouchers to the value of 50 percent of journey made if delay is longer than one hour. In light of these facts, I am entitled to claim one of those vouchers.

Please inform me about your decision as soon as possible.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Yours faithfully
