letter from all

I am writing a letter on behalf of my entire family to a group of recipients. It is a letter intended to inform about upcoming events. I would like to write "from" all of us but my wife believes it should just be from me. But then we all sign. WHat do you all think?

It really depends on the situation and the recipients. If your wife feels strongly about it, you might just sign it with your name and add "and family".
