Our Agency will be conducting a National Information Convention and I was chosen as one of the ushers for the said event. The attire for ushers is “barong” which I don’t have and I also don’t have enough money to spare to buy a new one. Below is the letter I drafted. Could anyone please correct the grammar or improve on it. Thanks.
Hi Sir,
I would like to beg off as usher in the National Information Convention (NIC) , to be conducted on 11-12 November of this year at Pasay City.
I was told that ushers are required to wear "barong" for the event which I have none.
I am just an admin assistant and with just a meager pay can’t afford to buy a new one.
Thank you and hoping for your kind consideration.
Sincerely yours,
