letter for asking basis for recent salary increase

May I ask i help for writing a letter to the Board of Directors asking basis for recent salary letter..My letter goes this way pls correct the grammar.thank you

with due respect, i humbly like to request more information for recent salary increase. As i knew i am the second highest salary scale received before but the knew salary scale shows that i had a minimum increase, from three years from this cooperative i have promoted twice and i am thankful for your trust. i believe that we have different weigh for work loads that assigned from us and the volume of business transactions now are different two years ago and as you give salary increase i except that my salary also will increase base on my new rate as all of us will be benefited. i look forward for you favorable consideration on this matter.
