Letter ending

Sincerely is a common one. Do people still use Cordially?

There are lots of ways to end a letter.

Regarding this subject, I think we use "Yours faithfully" if we start by "Dear Sir/Madam", and "Sincerely yours" if we start by an identified recipient as "Dear Mr. John".

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Yes, although in Britain we put Yours sincerely instead of Sincerely yours.
