Letter asking for sponsorship for boxers
PLEASE HELP
I was looking to ask for sponsorship for a local boxer. I hate asking for money. I don't know to write a letter to local businesses or set Jars out at locations asking for support or donations.
Following: DRAFT
STATE CHAMPION
Eric --------
Make it to Region 6 Silver Gloves in Little Rock Arkansas.
Eric is 13yrs old and weighs 95lbs. He is involved in USA Ameture Boxing.
Eric won Gulf Region Silver Glove Tournament on October 29 & 30th and advanced to
State Silver Gloves held in McKinney Texas December 3, 4, 5th
And won State Champion.
Eric has now advanced to Region 6 Silver Glove Tournament
We are asking for donations or Sponsors to travel to Little Rock Arkansas
Any amount is appreciated.
Eric is working his way to National Silver Gloves held February 2 through 5th in Lenexa, Kansas.

The main thing a business will be interested in is - 'What is in it for me?' So, why should they sponsor you, what can you offer them in return?
