Letter about yourself

Question

What to include in a letter where you tell someone about yourself? I consider myself as a rather dull person, that's why I'm having trouble on this one.

Well, that all depends upon why and to whom you are writing.

Is this a love interest you met on some Internet chat site? If so, you will stress personal stuff in your life.

Is this for acceptance in college? Again, different emphasis.

Everyone has a story to tell.

You have to reach deep inside yourself and decide what you want to write. You can post a draft of your letter and we can critique it and suggest improvements. But you will have to write the first draft. I don't know you, so I don't know what you want to include or exclude. Nor do I know the purpose of your letter.

I'm a fun, smart, spontaneous, generous, confident and super outgoing person.
I have a big heart but, don't get it twisted I don't take NO bullsh*t from ANYONE. Many think I'm conceited but in reality I'm not, well, I can be a bit Cocky.. I'm just VERy Confident "No woman is truly beautiful without having confidence and the intelligence to go with it":). I carry NO REGRETS. I have to write a letter to my teacher about myself as a first project of the school-year, but I'm having trouble because I want to make a really good impression, but don't know how to do that because I don't know the teacher very well. Any tips?

I'm under fifteen and was required to write a letter as an exchange student, to my hosting family in America. A few pointers of 'do's' and 'do not's'!
Do talk about:

-hobbies and activities you enjoy

-your family (what do you do with them?)

-your future goals (career path, hopes for a big family? small family?

-personality (a big thing! make sure you focus on the positives, not the negatives)

-If you're a student, what subjects do you enjoy? what are you studying?

-If you're an exchange student, talk about things you enjoy doing in your country (going to the beach, certain shops/markets, food you enjoy or want to try when you're over there, etc.)

-talk about how you're excited to meet them (even if you're not) and what you're excited to see or do (if you're an exchange student)

-Double, triple, quadruple check your letter (is there any mistakes? anything you can add?)

Do not's:

-Sarcasm (it just doesn't work in letters)

-Negatives (Like I said before, focus on the positives. You want to make a good impression, talk yourself up a bit)

-Swearing/rude comments (It's offensive and can be hurtful)

-Talk about insecurities and past mistakes (you don't want them to pity you, you want them to like you)

-Say things such as: I'm crazy, or I'm immature, etc. (While you might think of it as funny, they might not talk it in the way you want them to
