Letter Writing

Letter about Photography.

Hey Friends,

I took some photographs form a building. Now I want to write a letter for my instructor and explain why I chose this building and what research I did before.

Would you please have a look and let me know my mistakes.

Regard,

Masoud

The Arts Building (1912) is a neo-classical brick and stone structure which was once the centre of campus. The central wing extending back from Arts is known as Convocation Hall and is now primarily used for Department of Music recitals and concerts and for special ceremonies.

It is a magnificent ivy-covered building which today houses the departments that teach foreign languages and literatures. The Language Learning Centre, located in the basement, has state-of-the-art language, video, and computer lab facilities. This stunning building is frequently used as a backdrop for wedding photos in the spring and summer months.

I chose this building just because of architectural aspect. Some good source of light also neo-classical brick and stone which used in this building attract my attention. Overall the building is dark and it is hard to photograph without a tripod. I almost took hundred photographs from this building, also I edited few of my final photographs and reshoot some of them. I used a wide lens for this project. The wide lens also emphasized on architectural aspect of the building.

I made some research on Richard Bryant’s photographs. He is a famous photographer from London. His works are available on www.....

Another photographer which I researched in his work is David Churchill - Architectural Photographer from England. He almost moved all over the world and photographed many building. His work is seen extensively within the UK architectural press.
