Letter about admission to university

Hi all,
I am first timer to this forum but i already saw a lot of useful information here. So I just put toghether a short letter to the University of Toronto where i am about to apply for. Can you please tell me if there are some parts that needs corrections or maybe grammar errors or any structural errors. Well any errors that you find basically would be very helpful Emotion: smile . And BTW there wasnt any name given on the contact email so i am not sure if i am contacting a man or a woman, thats why i am not sure what my addressing should be. Thanks a lot! So here is the letter:

Dear Sir / Madame,
I am writing you to ascertain what are your requirements for admission to your undergraduate economics degree for foreign overseas students and more precisely students from Bulgaria.
I found the following information about entrance on your website:
- school-leaving certificate with excellent results ( based on our educational system an excellent grade is considered a 5.50 or more )
- prerequisite courses
- university entrance exam

I am currently studying in a french language high school learning french ( level B2 certificate ) and english ( level FSE ). I read all the information on your website and understood the requirements as mentioned above but i still have some questions regarding those requirements.
First of all I would like to ask you for the school leaving certificate. Do you need excellent mark only on the subjects needed for my degree which in my case is economics or the the entire grade should be excellent. What are the exact prerequisite courses that I should take regarding my chosen degree and my current level of french and english. I read that I need ENG4U course or equivalent but can you please explain me which other courses and certificates of english do you consider equivalents of ENG4U. Lastly I would like to ask you about the university entrance exam results which you need. In Bulgaria it is not necessary to hold any exams if you are willing to study abroad. In other words I would not be taking university entrance exams if I am applying to the University of Toronto. In this case do you still need these exam results or this case is considered as such that there are not any university exams present.

Another question which is slightly different. Since i have relatives in Toronto do you think that it would be reasonable and would help my admission if I move to Toronto now and apply in a high school there. Is it going to ease my admission that way.

I am looking forward to receiving your reply with further assistance about the admission process for international students. Thanks a lot!

Sincerely yours,
Feras S.
Bulgaria, Plovdiv
