Hi
Please point out the grammatical errors in this letter.

Dear Sir

I would like to present my situation for your kind consideration.

I have been working in this institution for 13 years now. I am sorry to tell you that I am finding it extremely difficult to make ends meet with my monthly salary. As the cost of living in Bangalore is going up steadily, it is only but making my situation all the more difficult.

I have got an opportunity to work in Nixon, Bangalore.
I consider this opportunity Godsend as I would be able to work at the same place where my husband works and it would also enable to spend more time for my children as the company is just 2 km from my house.

I would be able to take up this opportunity only if I produce the No Objection Certificate issued by the institution where I am presently working.

Please consider my situation and sincere contribution to the growth of this institution all these years and help me with the NOC.

Thank you for your kind consideration

Yours sincerely

You would use "sincerely" when a name of the receiver is mentioned at the beginning. "Faithfully" when it's not.

Then, you must use Yours faithfully

Hi Suresh.

Here in Canada, we do not use No Objection Certificates.

Is it common for employees to have a fixed-term contract? It's becoming quite common here in Canada, although there is some debate as to whether such people should really be called 'employees'. Sometimes they are called 'contractors'.
