I need to write a letter for getting a proof of my address. I would you to point out the mistakes. Do let me know if I need add or remove anything

I'm afraid I do not know what is meaning the word in the context.

You are thanking the person for the inconvenience that you are putting them to. 'Thank you for your time and trouble' is a set phrase for a request to do something like this, just like 'Thank you for your time and consideration' is a set phrase when e.g. applying for a job or requesting a holiday.
