Let's meet on Sunday / Sunday.

Let's meet on Sunday / Sunday.

When do we need "on" before Sunday, Monday, etc? Is there a meaning difference with "on" used or not?

Thank you so much in advance!

The rule of thumb is, whenever we name the days of the week, "on" is usually a safe bet. I have a dance class on Friday. - This means every Friday, you are not available and you will be dancing.

  • On- could be omitted, but not wrong with it.
