Let's just say...

0 Hi,02br
00my dictionary says that "let's say" means "let's suppose", and "let's just say" means "Let's put it this way, this is what I have to say in brief".02br
00I've always used "let's say" without "just", is it ok too or does it really make any difference? Example:02br
02br
01b00No, I'm not really an engineer. Well, let's (just) say I really like computers and technology in general, but that's not part of my job anyway.02b02br

00I've always left "just" out when explaining something quickly and not in detail, it that ok? Thanks 050010id1

00So if I say...02br
01b00No, I'm not really an engineer. Let's say I really like computers and technology in general, but that's not part of my job anyway.02br

00...then it's wrong, because "let's say" means "let's suppose" and in that sentence I'm not supposing anything? 02br
00Thanks 050010id1

0 I see, thanks.02br
00But this sure is confusing... in the end "just" is usually something you can add or leave out everywhere... how strange.0-
