Let's also

Which is correct:

1) Our neighbor's old dog's name was Sparky. Let's also name our new dog Sparky.
2) Our neighbor's old dog's name was Sparky. Let's name our new dog Sparky also.

Both are OK. Sentence 2) might be a little better. It avoids the idea that in addition to doing something else we should also perform this naming operation.

I'd say ... Let's name our new dog Sparky too.I guess I don't like "also" at the ends of sentences.
