Let's add more

there are some tricky words that look antonym of the root word which actually are somehow synonym.

for instance

1. invaluable means very valuable and is mistaken with unvaluable

2. inflammable means the same as flammable and is mistaken with nonflammable

3. unqualified means limitless and mistaken with disqualified

4. impassioned: full of emotion and feeling

I wonder if anyone is interested to add more words to this list

That is an interesting list. I cannot think of any more offhand, but there are also words that are antonyms of themselves, like cleave, apparent and sanction – these would form another interesting list.

That is an interesting list. I cannot think of any more offhand, but there are also words that are antonyms of themselves, like cleave, apparent and sanction– these would form another interesting list.

I looked them up, but for apparant I could just find the meaning of obvious.

What is the other meaning of that?
