Reverend Shotsu Nomura is the Chief Priest of the temple. That's why I am confused when the former and latter are combined. Can I remove "Reverend" so that it reads "Chief Priest Shotsu Nomura"?

Or should I write as follows?

"Chief Priest Shotsu Nomura" reads OK as far as the English is concerned, but unfortunately I cannot say whether it is correct because I do not know how this person's title should properly be styled. If you want to keep both "Chief Priest" and "Reverend", and you do not beli

I've also been trying to check whether it should properly be "Reverend Shotsu Nomura" or "the Reverend Shotsu Nomura". I see a bit of a mixture of styles though, so I am still not totally clear. Does anyone else have a view on this?
