Here is a situsation. I'm standing with my friend in front of people and going to introduce my friend (to people). Then, what is correct between the sentences?

1. Let me introduce you to my friend.

2. Let me in troduce my friend to you .

And, here is another situation. I have a friend called Tom, and I made him say hello to Jane. Then, how do I say?

3. I introduced Tom to Jane.

4. I introduced Jane to Tom.

In my experience, people no longer use the usual formulas and greetings for introductions as advised in etiquette books.

You can just say "Tom, this is Jane" (introducing Jane to Tom) and "Jane, Tom" (introducing Tom to Jane). Some people introduce others very informally just by saying their names ("Tom. Jane.") They may say, "Hello", "How do you do?" or "Nice to meet you". They may shake hands or not.
