I'm wondering how you would address the different verbs we use for hobbies.. I have separated about 20 hobbies into ones that use to play, ones that use to go, and ones that are a verb themselves (like to read, paint, watch TV). but some hobbies, e.g. swimming, you can say I swim or I go swimming... how would you get around this problem and make it clear. Also in my lesson plan I have to review adverbs of frequency, so i thought it would make sense to say: "I like swimming. I often go swimming." I'm just not sure how to explain clearly to an elementary class what verb construction we use. If anybody has taught this or has done this checkpoint in the i-to-i course I would really appreciate some opinions or help! Thanks all!
