lesson

Hello Emotion: smile
Could you help me, please?
I am looking for a word describing lessons which are organised at the end of a school year during which students can show what they have learnt..
I think an 'exemplary lesson' is a lesson that is usually organised at the beginning of a school year and the aim of which is to show what the classes will look like...
Could you suggest an appropriate word?
Thank you!

I'm not familiar with the concept since we don't have such lessons in the U.S.

Are you talking about fake (i.e., rehearsed) lessons used to demonstrate something for the parents of the students? O

Thank you for your suggestion!

Yes..I am talking about a lesson organized for pupils' parents, other teachers and the head teacher and to show what the students have learned..

I think 'demonstration lesson/classes" is ok.
Thank you

In the case of music, there is such a word: a recital. It is where the students perform in front of teachers and parents to show how much they have learned.

There are other contests such as spelling bees, where students compete to show how well they can spell. (English is notorious for spelling!)
