Lesser

1. Can you say:

Lesser country. Or

Turkey is a lesser country than the US.

2. Talking to a flight attendant:

I was telling her that the seat I had selected was specifically for my dislocated ankle. Or

I was telling her that the seat I selected was specifically for my dislocated ankle.

3. In a club with friends and she wonders off: I say:

Where have you been? Or

Where were you?

Are both useable?
