Rosemary, you would not say "Please, a bit of sugar." "A little sugar please " would be correct. You would probably only use the word "bit" if you were asked how much sugar you would like, then you might say "just a bit thankyou". But then the next question may be how much is a bit? It is easier to be exact and say just how much sugar you would like, "H

Being brave, having a go and harder learning, all these are right. Thank for your advices. And now, I am trying to harder learn English day by day. I still listen English CD every evening, but it's really difficult to do it usually. As you know, finding working time, everybody is quite tired, and so am I. Do you agree with me about that?
