Lengthier way

It is a lengthier way. You can cut across directly from here.
Walk down the road until you see the third signal where you have to turn right. But remember the first two signals will be smaller and the third one will be little lengthier.

Please correct my sentences and suggest me better versions too.

Thank you friend.
But I'm talking about road signals. I don't know what you mean by "sign" here. Moreover, I'm talking about the length of the road to reach first signal, second signal and the third one. To reach first signal from his current position just takes less time as second signal, but from second signal to third second signal the length is long.

1. Sign simply means a road sign. I should have said 'road sign' instead of just sign in my previous post. You can't use road signals instead of road/traffic signs.

For instance, a semaphore can give you a signal to pass or stop. Or a police officer can give you a signal to pull over etc.

2. The distance to the first (road) sign is smaller, as is the distance between the first
