Legacy, inheritance, heritage

I'm a bit confused with these words: legacy, inheritance, heritage. It's quite difficult for me to differentiate between them as a non native speaker because they seem to have a similar meaning. In the following I intend to show what I already grasped. Please add something if something is missing. I'd be happy if anyone could explain the exact difference.

legacy: Something that people who died give to their offspring.
-like one can leave someone a rich/dangerous/bitter legacy of sth.

inheritance: genetic/cultural/political aspects?
-to inherit money ?!

heritage: I've heard of many words: social heritage, film heritage, world heritage... Is it something that a group of people has in common ?
