I'm looking for the of the exercise described bellow. This one doesn't seem correct because it sounds like the leg is injured.
The first exercise: leg strain. Firmly strengthen both legs, tighten all the leg muscles pressing the knees into the bed and drawing the toes towards the head. The tightened posture is held without relaxation for the period of at least 10 seconds. The posture is then relaxed and the legs rest 3-5 seconds. This exercise should be repeated cca 10 times. This is followed by two sets of 10 repetitions, with rests of 5-15 minutes depending on the leg muscle fatigue.
Top answer
As far as I know, a strain is only used in the context of an injury. Perhaps this exercise can help prevent or alleviate leg strain?
