left you this note vs left this note for you.

I have been taught that the two following senteces are the same in meaning.

(1) Someone left you this note.
(2) Someone left this note for you.

However, I have gotten a feeling that when the note actually does not belong to the "somebody", that is, he or she is just a deliverer who don't write the note by oneself, the sentence (2) might be more natural to native speakers. I mean the speaker of the sentence (2) could imply the fact with the change of "you" to "for you" including the reverse of the word order.
I'm a non-native speaker who recently is interested in and try to understand the use of articles and prepostions in English. To me their meanings seem too delicate to follow. I would like to know in which different circumstances, though they are small, you prefer to use either (1) or (2).

many thanks in advance.

They share the same meaning, and they are equally natural. I have no preference.

Could I ask another question related? Do you think I could say the following?

(1) Someone left this memo on you.
(2) Someone left this memo to you.
(3) Someone left this memo into you.
(4) Someone left this memo in you.

Within the concept of my mother language, actually the number (2) and (3) are most natural to me in this context

No, none of them works with the meaning you intend. Sentence #1 would be possible only in the one-in-a-billion context that you were made aware that some a
