Can I say,
(a) Mrs Lim did not believe (the stranger), so she called the department to check (his reality).
The stranger was scared and left.
(b) She felt strange and did not believe (the stranger) so she called her father to ask about him. The stranger quickly ran away before she knew (that) he was a thief.
(c) The stranger left away / left Mrs Lim's house (away).
(d) The stranger left away from Mrs Lim's house. / The stranger left the gate.
