Left interests and outlook?

Hi there,

I am in the middle of a translation project and there is one personal advertisement which I can't understand. Would anyone kindly tell me what does the red part mean? Many thanks in advance.

LONDON MAN, 32, SMART, non smoker. Accountant but Left interests and outlook. Looking to meet attractive, optimistic woman.

Hi, I don't know, but here's my guess. It may be a political reference to the terms right wing (ie conservative) and left wing (socialist). The writer may think that readers may expect an accountant to be right wing , so he is saying that he is not.
