left (I have some snacks left// 3 minutes are left

I'm not sure how I should take the past participle verb "left" from the verb leave.

1.I have some snacks left in my bag.
2. Only 3 miinutes are left.

Do they have their active sentences in meaning or whatever?

I would consider 'left' in the sense of 'not used up, remaining' to be an adjective.
