Left

I sent my friend a picture and I am trying to describe it. For example, I am trying to tell him that I am located on the left-down(??) side of the picture (I mean the left-down corner).
What's the correct preposition to use?
1) I am first from the left
2) I am first from the left side
3) I am (located) on the left side (of the picture)
Any other examples will be appreciated and probably better

And If I want to tell him that I sit next to a Chris, from the left side, which are possible?
4) I sit left to Chris
5) I sit from the left to Chris (I certainly mix some structures, I just can't remember the proper one)
6) 'Look left to Chris -- it's me' is correct, right?

How else can you paraphrase these sentences?
Thanks

Do you mean the bottom left corner? (We don't use down in this circumstance). I am first from the left - yes this is fine I am first from the left side - ok but a bit long I am located on the left side of the picture - ok but a bit formal Some further examples for you I am on the far left (that means the end of the row).

3) I am on the left side of Crhis \ I am on the left Crhis' side

Are those ones OK?

I am on the left of Chris. - this would mean you are next to chris.

I am on the left from Chris - this means that you are on the left of Chris but not necessarily next to him - you are just using him as a landmark!

I am on the left side of Chris - yes...although this situation could be a bit ambiguous now I think about it. If you are looking at a photo, and you are on Chris's
