Lectures outweighs new technology to teach students
This is my opinion:
Lectures have always been used as the main method to teach students while new technology, such as visual slide or smart tablet, computer with Internet is now taking place in schools more and more popularly. In my opinion, teaching by lectures can still bring about some benefits that modern technology can't.
On the one hand, technological devices make it easier for students to study. For example, such slides or videos with interesting images that help sweep out boring long hours of lectures. Furthermore, nowadays teachers offer various e-learning courses in which learner are able to study everywhere without going to school. As far as I am concerned, professors of Foreign Trade University in Vietnam have already launched an e-learning course about information technology and another about communicative English.
On the other hand, lectures have inherently played a significant role in the acquisition of knowledge. In classes, the lecturer who directly teaches becomes more responsive. If students wonder a thing during the lesson, he is the only one to make it clear and understood. Additionally, unlike slides, teachers can give details and lesson-related ideas that may result in wide comprehension.
In conclusion, however much modern technology grows beneficial, it can replace human beings' lectures for these reasons discussed above.
