Leaving/Coming

I'm moving to new york in a week.

Is your family going with you? Or

Is your family leaving with you? Or

Is your family coming with you?

Are all three ok?

Top answer

All three are fine grammatically. Going is less formal than leaving. Coming you would use in New York the other two from outside of New York.

They're all okay in a different context.

You're the one who's moving. Who's asking the questions??

If the questioner is in NY, use "coming."

The other two work if the questioner is at your present location.
