0 Why not start with a paraphrase, boogers. You could describe the situation in the song. 02br

hey, im planning o do 'leaving on a jet plane' however i feel, although it relates to some sort of physical journey, it isnt really the main focus, instead the lyrics are of love and devotion, most likely relating more so to a emotional/inner journey, wat do u think?

Well, it's a long time since I heard the song; but I seem to remember it has some references to "packing bags", etc. So I'm not sure the lyrics could sustain anything other than a literal interpretation.

On the other hand, teachers and tutors like that kind of thing. So it may be worth a try.
