Grammar

leaves or leave

Hi

I'm pretty certain this extract uses 'leaves' correctly, but part of me keeps thinking it should be 'leave'. Could someone please explain.

Thanks

Your extract is correct because the subject of the verb "leaves" is the word "kind," not the word "salaries."
