behind this leave application is that I am looking forward to go for a vacation during this period and that I

What are your terms of employment inasmuch as vacation is concerned? Your manager should know your vacation entitlement and employment dates so repeating them in the letter seems unnecessary. Is this a written memo as opposed to an email?
