Can you please tell me the phrase or expression that fits into the context:

He doesn't want to do anything, he even lets/leaves his wife do the barbecue. (not that she wants it, but he leaves it to her because he doesn't want to do it)

Or maybe "he even has his wife do the barbecue" if you want to avoid the ambiguity that maybe he "lets" her because she wants to.

So maybe the idea is-- 'He doesn't want to do anything, even the barbecue, which he leaves for his wife to do.'
