I am travelling to my home town for the (some festival). Please grant me optional leave on (date).

as i am travelling to my home town due to celebrate Dessara festival along with my family. i would kindly request you to grand me leave for 4 days i.e.05.10.11 to 09.10.11.please correct me, if there is any error.

use grant instead of grand

As I will be travelling to my home town for the holy festival of Dussehra, I request you to grant me leave from (date) to (date), both days inclusive.
