Leave letter

Dear Sir,
I would like to request leave on probably one of the day between 17th to 19th June.I have to sign documents in our village administrative division depending upon the availability of the government officer. I hope you will understand my concern. As I am not sure on which day the officer will be available, should I apply for leave through absence reporting?.
