Leave behind/devote/sacrifice
Hi
I'm not sure which word/phrase would be accurate to describe what I want to say. I think some sort of slang expression would be best.
I want to say that by going somewhere I sacrifice my whole life, i.e., I had to leave my job, my family, friends behind to come here and be with you, so in other words I left behind my whole life/sacrificed it to be here.
For example, someone may say: "I had to forget/leave/blow off/ my school and exams to come and be here with you. However I want to say that in my case it's much more serious, it's not only school or job, but my whole life and I'm looking for some appropriate expression to say that, probably a slang expression.
Do you have any ideas?

Hi. Do I get you right? You want to say that you've already sacrificed almost everything you have got to be somehere with someone, don't you?
You may say: I've give up everything to be with you.
I'll guess if I can recall something idiomatic.
