Least or the least?

Hi. Which is correct? Thank you for your anticipated help.

It is the least (or "least") of all the worries.

"That's the least of my worries!"

(= That isn't something that worries me, compared with my other problems)

If it is, what is the difference between this?

I think the word "the" is optional here, but usually I would put it in

The word "the" usually marks the fact that there is only one: He is the best player we have; he is the least of my problems

But you can leave it out: he is best of a bad bunch; he's worst in his class
