Learning writing style from Wikipedia editors ?

I believe that if you're not a natural artist, you can improve your output by following written rules/heuristics.
Mostly driven by my inability to communicate with legally trained people, which is essential in rapidly degenerating new-S.Africa, I'm trying to improve my talking and writing skills. Ie. I want to try to use law instead of violence.
The following web-page, which unfortunately (in the present context) will change/evolve, show an author who obviously knows, what I need to know. Perhaps s/he knows where I can learn this stuff on-line ?
[nq:1]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Make + The article has too many verbs in the passive voice, creating ambiguity as to the various actors (the ... description in places tends to invert the natural order of concept assimilation. I.e., it reads as now-we-understand-it rather than here-is-how-to-understand-it.[/nq]
Q - is it possible to trace wikipedia editor's email addresses ? Or a list of their posts ? Or how else to learn from those who obviously know, and have demonstrated their willingness to share their talent/knowledge ?
Thanks for any input.
